Action Star Technology, a Taiwanese OEM/ODM service provider with more than 30 years of experience in manufacturing docking stations and other USB accessories, is proud to announce a new stage in its partnership with Energysquare, a French company known for developing innovative Power by Contact® (PbC) cableless charging technology. Notably, Power by Contact® is the cutting-edge technology that wirelessly powers Lenovo’s latest Thinkbook 13Xi notebook, when used in conjunction with the Thinkbook wireless dock.
Through this collaboration, Action Star and Energysquare aim to revolutionize the charging and connectivity experience for end-users of electronic devices and enhance productivity for corporate environments, by integrating Energysquare’s contact-based cableless charging technology, in Action Star’s docking station and other productivity solutions.
With this new level of expertise and support for projects leveraging PbC technology, Action Star can now facilitate access for medium and large OEM customers to the cableless charging market for USB-C PD devices up to 100W today, and 240W by mid-2024.
